Doc Baldwin Cardinal Award Nominations are due by July 20, 2026
Please send in your nominations for the Doc Baldwin Cardinal Award to Mary O’Day by July 20, 2026. A description of this honor, which is awarded to a HSDAA Club member who demonstrates good character, a positive attitude, serves as an excellent role model and ambassador for the breed, and demonstrates integrity and sportsmanship, may be found here. The awardee is chosen by a committee comprised of the former recipients of the Award.

08/5/26 Wednesday
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Set-up in Ballroom.
3:00 PM: Check-in time
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Handlers are welcome to do run-throughs with their dogs after set-up.
6:00 PM: Welcome get-together in Hotel Bar & Restaurant.
08/6/26 Thursday
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: BAER Testing
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Tricks Workshop hosted by Lina Heimiller
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch on your own
1:00 PM: Please collect your armbands for the show in the Hotel Ballroom. Be on time or early!
1:30 PM: Regional Specialty Show #1 Commences. We will follow the normal show schedule starting with the Companion classes and ending with BISS. Pictures following the show.
6:00 PM: Dinner at Mary O’Day’s house.
