2018 NATIONAL SPECIALTY SCHEDULE

10/31/18 Wednesday          Arrive at hotel during the day

6:00pm:                               Welcome with Beverages and Pizza in the Hospitality Suite (Room-111)

11/1/18 Thursday                Seminars are free to members! All Seminars will be held in the same room where we will show our dogs. (the Show Room).. which is on the second floor in the Cape Colony ballroom. 

 

10:00-11:30am:                    Become A Better Handler

                                            An exciting session where novice and experienced handlers can learn to better present their dogs in the ring. Bring your table, show lead and dog.

 

Noon-1:00pm:                     Lunch provided in the Hospitality Suite (Room 111)

1:30-4:00pm:                        Thursday Regional Specialty Show in Cape Colony

                                              We will follow the normal show schedule starting with the Companion class doggs and ending with BISS. Rising Stars for the Thursday show will be held after the show on Saturday.

                                              A specific schedule with approximate ring times for the entire weekend will be available along with your welcome bag.

4:30-6:00pm:                         Rally Demonstration and Trials: Members Cathy Foldesi and Marilyn Spence will explain how Rally works and then allow you to try your hand with your dogs.

 

7:00-10pm:                            Beverages and light snacks in Hospitality Suite (Room 111):

11/2/18 Friday       

9:00am:                                  Regional Specialty Show Commences in Cape Colony

                                               We will follow the same normal show schedule 

12:00-1:00pm                        Lunch provided in the Hospitality Suite (Room 111)            

1:30-2:30pm                          Chiropractic Adjustments For Your Dogs

3:30-5:00pm                          Grooming Session

7:00pm                                   Annual Members Meeting in the Show Room

8:30-10:00pm:                       Beverages and lights snacks in Hospitality (Room 111)

113/18 Saturday             

9:00am:                                  National Specialty Kicking off with Companion and Provisional Class Dogs. We will then judge Rising Stars

11:00am-noon                        Acupuncture For Your Dogs

12:00-1:00pm                         Lunch provided in the Hospitality Suite (Room 111) 

2:00pm:                                  Doggy Costume Parade in the Show Room

3:00pm:                                  Annual Eye Clinic in the Grooming Room

                                               We will have OFA eye certification exams provided by a board-certified ophthalmologist, Michael Blair. Please contact Suzanne LaCosse for an appointment time.

6:30pm:                                  Annual Silent Auction, Banquet and Awards Presentation. Cocktails and Silent Auction followed by dinner at 7:30pm in the Show Room

11/4/18 Sunday   

9:00am:                                  National Specialty resumes.  We start with Companion and Certified  BOB, then the BISS, Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, Brace, Generations and ending with Bred by Exhibitor Class.
